Bravo! (June)

One of the many things I love about being involved with Reliv is that we get to recognise Distributors who have achieved remarkable things. But sometimes I need to remind myself that even though recognition is part of our Reliv DNA, it is not in the DNA of the conventional corporate world.

Recently a friend of my wife who works for a large online retailer was told, along with the rest of her team, that there had been a huge surge in orders, and they would be expected to pick, pack and dispatch 30% more parcels than normal that day. The team went to work and by the end of the day, they had created a new factory record for the number of orders picked, packed, and dispatched, 33% more than an average day. Every one of the team had put everything into making sure they didn’t let the company down. They were all exhausted but delighted with the result! But they received no thanks or praise from their supervisor, upper management, or the company. The whole team is now demotivated, and some are talking about leaving! Not all companies recognise exceptional work.

I am so grateful that Recognition plays a big part in the Reliv world, and we stand by the words of our Founder and Chairman, Robert Montgomery, “When you make good things happen with Reliv, great things are going to happen to you.”  I am sure that, like me, you feel proud to be part of this culture.
